 In the initiative of Rakhu Samaj UK, a  organization of the residents of Rakhu, Myagdi in the UK, Rs. 8 lakh 38 thousand 589 has been provided to contributed financially to the covid-19 Aid campaign.





Rakhu Samaj UK has deposited Rs. 160,000 in the village disaster management fund for the purchase of 10 oxygen cylinders to help in the treatment of corona infected patients. Similarly, two Oxygen Consultancy machines have been procured with an investment of Rs. 2,70000.


Earlier, Rakhu Samaj UK had deposited Rs. 356,998 in the account of the Red Cross sub-branch for the free restaurant facility operated for the patients and their relatives at the temporary Corona Hospital in Piple and Rs. 41,350 has been handed over to the representatives of the youth club for the same purpose. The amount has been provided for the operation of free restaurant, essential equipment for the service, PPE for volunteers and other items.


Bishnu Bhandari, president of Rakhu Samaj UK, informed that 10,000 rupees worth of food items have been provided for the free food run by the ward office, local Navsantosh Seva Youth Club, CYG Club, Nepal Red Cross Society Piple sub-branch and others. The Rakhu Society UK has been providing financial support to every disaster and social work in the Rakhu area since its inception. The Rakhu Society UK expresses its gratitude to the health workers and volunteers who will be working for the health care and free meals of the people during the Corona Epidemic and is committed to continue to work together for social responsibility in the days to come.
