Construction of a well-organized playground in Piple
Posted by A well-organized sports ground has been constructed in Piple of Raghuganga village municipality-3. A well-organized sports ground for basketball and volleyball has been constructed with the budget allocation of the village municipality and ward and donations and labor of the locals.
The construction of the sports ground cost Rs 1.1 million. Raghuganga village municipality had allocated Rs 300,000 and ward Rs 300,000. Secretary of Navsantosh Sewa Youth Club Mukti Subedi informed that the modern sports ground was constructed with the financial assistance of Rs. 200,000 from the club, Rs. 150,000 from the locals and Rs. 150,000 from the people. Basketball and volleyball coats have been demolished and a model playground of the village has been constructed. With the active participation of the club and the financial support of the ward and locals, a stage and fence was constructed besides the ground.
In the past, when the playground was not organized, the fair organized by the club and at other times, if there was water for practice, the fair and practice game had to be stopped due to mud. The construction of a well-organized playground has removed that problem from now on. Chairman of the construction committee Gyan Bahadur Malla informed that the problem of dust has been removed from the players.
On the occasion of the great festival of women, Nav Santosh Santosh Youth Club has been conducting men's and women's volleyball and basketball competitions.
